INTRODUCING GLOBAL CHIEFS FOR CHANGE (GCFC), a bold program, designed by World Ebony Network (WEN) that recognizes the chieftaincy enstoolment platforms of the chieftaincy institution as a veritable tool for societal advancement to connect, equip, and elevate the next generation of transformational leader across various sectors.
Global Chiefs for Change is more than a title. It’s a community and a platform where leaders gain access to high-impact mentorship, strategic partnerships, visibility opportunities, and curated conversations that move ideas into action. As said chieftaincy nominees get enstooled upon meeting the

required selection criteria, they automatically become not just members of the communities, but leaders in their own domain.
The Global Chiefs for Change Accountability Board (GCFCAB) is charged with the responsibilities of receive and processing chieftaincy nomination nomination forms from chieftaincy nominees (men and women). GCFCAB ensures that credibility, respectable and responsible individuals are selected to play the much needed leadership roles in the society. In addition, the board ensures good and purposeful leadership, justice fairness, discipline, integrity and support community projects as well as contribute material, intellectual, and counselling needs to help build their new adopted community.
The pre-enstoolment process begins with the board conducting interviews, background checks, and screening after receiving the nomination application, to ensure that legitimate people are being nominated to receive chieftaincy titles. The board prepares these nominees for the title recognition ceremony every year during the Global Chiefs for Change Segment of the World Ebony Network Ethnic Folklore Festival (WENEFF) and for enstoolment at the kingdom. The aim of the board is to ensure that true leaders of noble character and essentially role models are admitted into the community via the chieftaincy institution.
WEN’s Chiefs For Change project seeks to identify and recommend highly regarded well-spoken of men and women in their communities to WEN royals (WEN board of advisors made up of a Corp of Traditional rulers) to be Chiefs for Change and Ambassadors of the community/kingdom from where they will receive their chieftaincy titles.
