Angel Refuse is an Opera Singer, actor, and Arts advocate.
He was selected to study at the Boston Conservatory of music. After conservatory, he continued studies with esteemed Bass-Baritone Ed Pierson. Angel Has performed in sacred, recital, concert, and operatic mediums all across locally
and abroad. He debuted in a full solo recital on October 26, 2014, at the Steinway Steinway Piano Gallery. He has been an active singer with Florida Grand Opera since 2011. In 2016, Angel had the unique opportunity to collaborate with Visual Artist and Performer Marielle Plaisir, in a life-performance art piece Acta Non-Verba. He debuted as a soloist with the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
Angel is active in the community as an Arts advocate working with Florida Grand Opera as a teaching Artist and Mentor in the Cadenza program. He has been featured in radio interviews with WLRN-NPR, 105 Hot Talk with Jill Tracey and Tre Talk Radio Europe. Most Recently, has made orchestral debut as Soloist with the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
