Under World Ebony Network’s Economic Resource and Development business unit, the organization implements within its chapters, an array of age appropriate economic activities, such as:

Because WEN applies the “It Takes the Village” African philosophy in all its activities where it partners with other organizations to deliver its services, the organization has chosen to partner with script Inc with a similar business, to offer financial literacy education in the Tri-city area, for which Petersburg VA’s included.
WEN Ebony Youth Empowerment (EYE’s) financial literacy teaches youth how income works and how to be financially independent. Watch the below video for more information.

Script Inc., is one of WEN community partners who provides financial management education to WEN organized classes, train the trainer, and provides financial counselling through WEN in the Tri-city area, for which Petersburg VA's is located.
